This annual concert for the BBC is shared with the Central Ohio Brass Band.

A smaller than average, but appreciative audience braved the cold to attend another enjoyable concert at St. Johns.

The band's sound filled a very live hall. It was nice to see some old familiar faces in the audience including Paul Bierley and The Weltzheimers.

Dr. Droste and the Heraks enjoyed the opportunity to perform with the BBC in front of a once again full house at their home church.

Although the band was squeezed into a slightly smaller venue than most concerts, they stepped up their performance by toning down their dynamics. The band also enjoyed performing once again for Carol Evans and the rest of Friendship Village.

Cabot Rea joined the band as vocal soloist, with the opportunity to perform near his parents home town.
The band appreciated the large crowd and lovely venue and hopes to return in the near future.

In spite of the change of venue from the normal site at Lancaster Campgrounds, the band very much enjoyed the acoustics of Faith Memorial Church.

An estimated 1000-1200 were in attendance for this concert along the banks of the Scioto River, the largest event of this summer season sponsored by the Dublin Arts Council's Sundays @ Scioto Series.

The band featured some fine lyrical playing from many of its soloists tonight for a packed house at Trinity Lutheran Seminary.

An audience of about 375 were not only dazzled by the musical performances of the day, but also by a multimedia presentation that accompanied the pieces.

The BBC performed to a very appreciative audience of about 400. Chris Jaudes wowed the crowd with his virtuoso performance and there were several standing ovations including after the BBC's contest piece Quintessence.

Lisa Galvin had a wonderful return to the soloist stage and the band had their first run through of both contest pieces.

Scott Heath filled the hall with a lovely sound as the featured soloist this evening. A fantastic combine performance of Olympic Fanfare had the audience forgetting about the opening ceremonies on TV.

The band played for an appreciative audience (with many new supporters) in a lovely theatre. Jim Curnow visited as guest conductor and the band played quite well for him and his compositions.

This concert was part of the Maennerchor's Oktoberfest celebration. The event was enjoyed by all in the band (as were the brats, potato salad and liquid refreshment)
